Wheeled Loader or Tracked?

Rene Im asking you especially because you have one of Mr. Leimbachs Wheeled loaders, are you happy with the model overall, which do you think is a more worthwhile purchase. I like the tracked loader because it looks more scale, the wheeled loader isnt as detailed or up to date. Anyone know if they are going to redesign the wheeled loader with a more up to date one?

Let´s do some ad to help Wedico:

What Do you think about the new Wedico Wheel Loader?

cat2_gross.jpg

as I think it looks really scale and none of the products of leimbachdoes even gets near ( talking about the look )
And as far as I know it´s hydraulics are made by leimbach. So you get a great look with a perfect working equipment. another aspect could be that it´s even an emerican brand ( cat ).

Don´t take this too serious. I´m not a salesman from wedico. it´s just that wedico has little financial problems and we were kidding bout helping together to get them out of those probs.

But at least I can honestly say that if i had the money an i wanted to by a building machine I would choose this one.

greatings to the states!

A DIos!

I´ve seen it at work two weeks ago. It will work very fine and it lok really good

Ulrich Geiger @ trust me on this one, if I had the money to buy that loader from wedico, I would have already had it in a flash, but lets face the facts...the model alone without electronics is over 2000 dollars, I could have a complete leimbach model for that then the hydraulic set is 800 and then another 645 dollars for the electronics. That is in my opinion just a tad bit much. No? Now maybe I can buy the model but I wouldnt be able to get it fully funcional for a year or two, knowing me I want something that I can actually use. Not sit on a shelf and colect dust. The Hydraulics seem a little expensive thought its only the pump a 3 way valve, hose, and oil. I could probably buy that from leimbach for 400 dollars. Half of what wedico sells. Maybe if they tried lowering the price to attract more customers will help them out more than having few customers that can buy it at a very expensive price. Now that you say it, I think i could probably get enough money for the loader, its just the leimbach models are being upgraded quite well. Time will tell :bl Oh and one more thing I forgot to add, I word be very sad to see such a great company as wedico go out of business and I would love to help them out, I was going to buy a frame off of them and some other tidbits and just havint had time. Let me just say this, if I do get the money for the Wedico model, I will buy it but hey im only 15 well 16 in two months, I will then have my working papers to get a job. So money doesnt come off trees yet for me. It will take me time :bl

Just my 2 cents:bl

I see your point and i understand it. i´m the same kinda a guy talking about our hobby. i can´t wait either to finish a model for years and let´s not get started on money. i know how hard it is if you´re not earning monthly. Im going to university and i just don´t have the time for a job, only in vacation time but that´s another point...

have u ever thought of the bruder liebherr 574. a member here has put hydraulics in and it seem´s to work proper. It´s scale and not too expensive. as far as i know the hydraulics were from leimbach.

But back to your decision prob: putting the wdc outa range i´d choose the track loader. it looks better and the wheel loader was updated a year or two ago so i wouldn´t wait for another one soon.

PS: ur answer sound´s a little like an excuse. there´s no need for it. it was just my point of view.

good luck!

A Dios!

Well heres my plan, if I am lucky enough to find a job that puts out reasonably good pay, I will aim to buy the wedico. I just want something that I can go into the backyard or wherever and just fool around in the dirt. :bl And after I do get the money i have one more obstacle...convincing them to let me spend 2000 EUR on a RC model.:mama :njam
